Located on the outskirts of Barcelona, this social housing complex for the elderly is designed to promote socialisation and physical activity through the spatial relationships of its layout. Two rectangular blocks, positioned along the site's perimeter, frame a garden space that extends the public areas to the north of the plot, while also activating the social spaces on the building’s ground floor. This semi-public garden is intended to accommodate a range of activities, such as contemplation, relaxation, play, exercise, and social interaction.

Each apartment has dual aspect, with a private terrace facing the street and a shared balcony that wraps around the garden, providing access to the units and opportunities for interaction with neighbours. The two blocks correspond to the apartment typologies: one block is dedicated to one-bedroom units, while the other houses two-bedroom apartments. Vertical circulation is centrally located where the two blocks meet, providing naturally lit exterior spaces, shared terraces, and views of the city.
